| 46 year old guy from Southampton in the UK. 20+yrs in the construction industry. I recently completed a BSc(Hons) in Construction and Open University courses in sustainable technology and environmental science. I then went on to do a short course in cosmology and particle physics. What can I say..? I have a lot of interests. Oh, and BOINCing...can't go a day without a good BOINC. | I love any project that attempts to answer some of the fundamental questions about the properties of the world, and universe, in which we live. The short course in cosmology that I did, included some background on how, exactly, laser interferometers attemp to detect gravity waves. Now I understand the goals of the project a little better, I'm even more excited about helping it to achieve them. | |
