Profile: Alexander W. Janssen

Your personal background.
I am a 2^5 year old IT-professional from Germany with expertise in UNIX, telecommunication, programming and security.
I used to participate RC5 and in OGR25 at Distributed.net, the mother of all distributed crunching-projects :-)
I like cats, hiking and having a beer on a warm spring-evening with my wife and my friends. I regular attend the Linuxbierwanderung and always have a lot of fun there. If you are into Linux and hiking, attend as well :-)
Your opinions about Einstein@Home
I run Einstein@Home since i have LOTS of unused CPU-cycles and my computers are running 24/7 anyway. So why not donate the rest?
I basically like the idea that a almost one century old theorem by Einstein can be proven and that i - surely not a scientist, but an interested amateur - can participate in it.
