Profile: Jeff

Your personal background.
I am from a small town in upstate NY and the father of two. I have been involved with distributed computing projects since 2000 starting with SETIatHome and then making the rounds to most other DC projects. My favorite projects to participate in have been LifeMapper and Chessbrain. This project has peaked my interest lately and I am happy to assist in testing.

My home farm has had a high of 8 machines at one point and 12 processors at another. Currently I am at 6 rigs with 11 total cores. I also have 4 or 5 machines offsite which I occasionally do maintenance on.
Your opinions about Einstein@Home
Seems like an interesting project and the admin(s) are very responsive. I make the rounds to various projects but I plan to stick around here for a while.

Good luck with the project.
