Your personal background.
My call is N9ZQZ and have been participating in Seti for a long time. Tired of all the work and then problems with reporting lately so I am trying out this project. I am involved with the local 2 meter and 70 cm nets in my area and am a software tech support technician by trade. I work in windows, linux and Unix but prefer windows and Linux. My favorite distros of Linux currently are Suse 10.1 and Unbuntu 6.06.1. I support both Linux and windows platforms at work so I naturally have them running at home. I am a outer space fan as some would put it so joining a number crunching project makes sense to me.

I am 38 and computers and amateur radio are my hobbies. I will eventually incorporate the two with packet someday. Just finding the time to do that without sacrificing family time is the key.
Your opinions about Einstein@Home
I run the project to help with finding out what is in outter space. To hopefully one day have a colony of people on different planets to preserve our species as well as to learn more about our own solar system. Since I love running BOINC and have with Seti for a couple of years this made perfect sense. Currently tired of the problems they are having with uploading results and other issues that seem to keep happening. When they work out their problems I will split time between the 2 projects but until then I am running this project 100%.
