Profile: jacklass1

Your personal background.
I'm a long-time distributed processor residing in Bethesda Maryland. I live here with my wife of 44 years (44 years of savage bliss) and the head of our household, Prince Gregory of Bethesda, the neighborhood rodent control officer. My hobbies include feeding the cat, letting the cat out, letting the cat in, petting the cat, and paying the cat's vet bills. Otherwise I spend my time profitably in doing as little as possible. I am a huge fan of old-time British radio comedy: The Goon Show, ISIRTA, Round the Horn, Hancock's Half Hour, etc. I've got a pretty good collection of these shows and use them in lieu of tranquilizers and other drugs as treatment for depression. They are quite as effective and far less expensive.

My interests range from Cosmology to politics...that is from the sublime to the ridiculous. I am an avid, though not fanatical, bird watcher and feeder and am teaching Prince Gregory to be an ornithologist rather than an ornithophage. As a founding member of The Final Front Ear, I enjoy the "sparkling repartee" to be found on the club board and web site. I invite anyone reading this profile who has managed to get this far without choking to join us. Further deponent sayeth not.
