| I'm an engineering graphics technician living in upstate New York, and an amateur astronomer for well over 20 years. I'm an avid cycling/jogging enthusiast who enjoys backpacking in the Adirondack wilderness. I'm also a fan of RPG series such as Xenosaga and Final Fantasy, when the weather doesn't allow me to be outdoors. My father introduced me to astronomy at a young age when I watched him build his own telescope, and then gave me the honor of seeing first light through it. I'm now doing my part to pass that wonder and amazement on to my three children, all of whom have embraced astronomy with open arms. My brother and sister are both amateur astronomers as well. I'm a member of the BABB, the web forum associated to the Bad Astronomy website (www.badastronomy.com). | |
