Profile: Kirsten

Your personal background.
I am a grandmother of two and a mother of three grown-up sons. I live in Copenhagen, Denmark. I am 64 years of age and I built my first computer a couple of years ago. My sons were very proud of their old mother that could assemble hardware into a computer that actually works!

I am now retired, but I used to be a journalist in Danish local TV stations specialising in art: all sorts of exhibitions, theatre plays, and interviews with musicians, whatever.

My interests besides computers and web design are space, science, literature, movies, fine art, and cold beers - almost in that order :-D

I like to travel on foot, bicycle, canoe, airplanes, and trains. I am a true train romantic. Besides Denmark and Sweden my favourite travel goal is Crete. I once lived there for three months while trying to write a novel. The outcome was no novel, but an everlasting love for Crete and Cretans.
Your opinions about Einstein@Home
Gravitational waves from pulsars still has to be found to prove Einstein's theory - I do my bit. (Besides, Einstein is my hero!)
