Your personal background.
Studied Physics/Engineering at SUNY Oneonta from 73 - 76, never
lost my love for it.
Got into computers after moving to Michigan in 76.
Hobby is 3d graphics with computers; opengl, some directx, but
I think java3d may be a sleeping giant.
Your opinions about Einstein@Home
I run it because it is one way I can contribute to knowledge and
further the efforts towards understanding of gravitation.

I first heard of LIGO by way of an essay by Kip Thorne in
"The Future of Spacetime", (2002, W.W. Norton & Co., New York),
and became fascinated with the way LIGO was engineered to evade the
uncertainty principle. If we are on the cusp of understanding
gravitation, we can learn to bend space, perhaps to travel to the
stars (of course, we have much to get right on our planet before
such a venture is possible).

Suggestions ? Push for a larger supercollider at Michigan State
University, my employer :>
