Profile: Ravon

Your personal background.
Having crunched over 24,000 Seti work units since 1999 I found the chance to join Einstein @ Home equally interesting. I am 63 years old and used to live in Northern Virginia where I enjoyed tinkering with my computers and traveling with my wife. I now reside in the Sunshine State having recently retired.
Your opinions about Einstein@Home
Einstein@Home is a good project however for a beginner it is fustrating seeing a lot of pending credits and no actual results. After a week I was ready to give it up because I did not really understand the process. Thanks to the FAQ I was able to get information on how the returns are processed and now that the credits are being applied I can feel that I am contributing.

Einstein@Home needs a good search engine for the top participants results so you don't have to go through twenty pages to find a participant.
