Your personal background.
Hey! Good to be here. Nice to give back for a change. I do believe that we are not alone. always have, otherwise...like the movie...there would be too much wasted space out there.
I am a software architect these days, sr developer, mostly C# ASP.Net now on the development side. At least that's what corps are willing to pay for. SQL Srvr or Oracle back end. Lots of web services work. Toying with Ruby on Rails for some personal projects.
And of course, working on projects of my own as time allows...
For hobbies I do wood working, mostly one off cabinets, furniture. I do have a fairly complete wood shop in my garage :-)
I ride motorcycles, i currently have 2, and looking for a 3rd.
I live in SoCal.
Your opinions about Einstein@Home
I met a gentleman on a bus off central park in NYC in may of 2005 who was in a group (now pretty much defunct) doing Einstein@Home. Well, I finally got around to connecting up. I looked for other groups and landed at Team USA.

Any little piece i can do to assist is just fine by me.

One of my favorite quotes (from www.despair.com, a really great commercial enterprise) is:
"No single raindrop believes it is to blame for the flood." and applied conversely/contusionally/assbackwards - I know my little piece of cpu is but a speck on the ... but it does make a difference!
:-)
