Profile: Mike Kubanek

Your personal background.
I have been contributing significant resources since March 2008. Currently 41st (RAC) 76th (Total Credit)!! I became very interested in the Theories behind Black Energy and Black Matter while taking a Caltech course taught by Sean Carroll. After completing the course I decided to contribute my Home Computer time to Einstein@Home. All Nine of my Computers are Intel Quads. I was initially thinking that a top 50 ranking might be of interest to a Local Longwood Florida Business for free advertisement in this Profile. I am retired from Siemens Telecommunications were I served in numerous capacities from Manager of Material Service, Director of System Test, Director of Manufacturing, Director of Customer Engineering and Proposals and even AVP of Commercial. I am also a Retired Local Racing Super Late Model Driver – and Five Time Local Racing Champion. I also won the “Balls Promotion” World 500 in Gaffney S.C. at the Cherokee Speedway on October 24th, 1987.
Your opinions about Einstein@Home
I am running Einstein@Home to assist with the overall expansion of our collective knowledge of the Universe. I think this project is extremely important, along with all the others I have seen that are trying to expand our collective knowledge. There isn't much the "Average Joe" can do in these fields, so this is a terrific opportunity to assist, and hopefully feel a part of the discoveries yet to come. The authors of the BOINC tool have done a terrific job. This is an exciting operation and I applaud the Team that put this complex Multi-User database together.

I have one suggestion; It would really help if I knew when I might be partially involved in any type of discoveries or analysis. If any of my outputs helps in any way I would sure like to know if I have even the smallest part of the discovery. All the computers, time, funding for my contribution comes right from me, so any positive feedback would help the justifications to my friends or family.
