Profile: babychunder

Your personal background.
Live in exile in darkest England, having emigrated here from Bonnie Scotland some 18 months ago. My work has some "IT" content and I've always liked building my own machines. At the moment I, having just moved house, I have only got three PCs doing DC, most of the others are in mothballs in the garage waiting to be set up. However, Home-22 and Home-24 are quite meaty beasts (8 cores each).
Your opinions about Einstein@Home
Up until I moved house a few weeks ago, I was doing folding@home. Many of the clients for it are clunky, whereas Boinc seems to have a better front end. I think the Einstein project is a good cause and it keeps my water-cooled Octo Xeons warm over the cold Spring nights here.
