| I have been working in audiovisual industry since 1998 and I am very keen on science documentaries (though I usually work in fictional films and for TV). When I was child, I do not like science not maths specially. I prefer language and literature. Some years ago, I met a girl. She was very interested in astronomy and physics and I discovered some good books about the universe and physics (of course, those by Asimov and by Hawking). Since then, I have became a great fan of science, specially of the study of the universe. Traballo na industria audiovisual dende 1998 e encántanme os documentais sobre ciencia (aínda que adoito traballar en películas de ficción e para a televisión). Cando era cativo, non me gustaban as ciencias nin as matemáticas especialmente. Prefiría a lingua e a literatura. Hai uns anos, coñecín a unha moza. Ela estaba moi interesada na astronomía e na física e, grazas a ela, descubrín algúns bos libros sobre o universo e a física (por suposto, os de Asimov e de Hawking). Dende entón, convertinme nun verdadeiro fan da ciencia e, sobre todo, do estudo do universo. | |

| I saw a documentary about gravitational waves online. I have heard something about gravitational waves and the general theory but I do not really know so much before I saw the documentary. I found the documentary very interesting and I also discover the LIGO project. Therefore, I decided to cooperate with that project. I do not have any great theory about the universe nor the matter, so my contribution is merely connecting my computer to BOINC. Vin un documental en internet sobre as ondas gravitacionais. Xa escoitara antes falar das ondas gravitacionais e sobre a teoría xeral da relatividade que as postula pero realmente non sabía moito delas antes de velo documental. O documental pareceu moi interesante e, ademais, descubrín o proxecto LIGO. Polo tanto, decidín que quería cooperar co proxecto. Como non teño ningunha teoría marabillosa sobre o universo nin sobre a materia, a miña contribución consiste simplemente en conectar o meu ordenador ao BOINC. | |
