Profile: S@NL - Marleen

Your personal background.
I am from the Netherlands and I work at a small ICT company as a Lotus Notes developer. And yes, I like cats...
Your opinions about Einstein@Home
Although I work in ICT, I studied physics at the university. Einstein@Home gives me the opportunity to participate in physics research by donating some computer time.

I've been running Seti Classic since March 2000 and in 2004 I started using Seti/BOINC. From January 2005 onwards I've been participating in Einstein, my first project next to Seti. I will keep looking for little green guys (or whatever they look like), but gravitational waves are interesting, too, and I think the probability of finding those waves is a lot higher.
