Your opinions about Einstein@Home
I'm very interested in proving that there are gravity waves. It is my opinion that the speed of light is so because it is the speed of causality; otherwise EM couldn't propagate at a limited/specific speed in the absence of any medium.

This being so suggests that gravity, too, must propagate at the speed of light (as opposed to instantaneously).

My impression, with my limited understanding of GR, is that time and space are alternate facets of the same thing, and the speed of light can be considered to be the conversion factor between time and distance. Time being a measure of change and causality being change's modality, it therefore would seem to make a lot of sense if the speed of light were the speed of causality. (It even explains why photons have no internal time, i.e. aging.)

What will the discovery of gravity waves offer humanity? I honestly don't know; I just think it's neat. However if we were to prove that gravity distributes instantaneously (doubtful), I suppose that would open the door for communications across vast distances without having to wait years. Wouldn't that introduce some sort of relativistic paradox, though?
