Your personal background.
I have been working as an electrical engineer for well over 20 years, now. I have done electronic/avionic design work, mainly for government and defense contractors over the years.

I play several musical instruments: trombone, some guitar and bass guitar, piano (although I am by no means a pianist), and most recently the trumpet. I sing in a civic vocal ensemble, and sing and play bass in church on Sundays. I also have setup a home recording studio and have produced a few CD singles for church.

Last year I jumped into amateur astronomy when I built an 8" dobsonian telescope. This, and that I like the BABB, is why I am a member of the BABB team.

I might post a picture in the future.
Your opinions about Einstein@Home
My own solution to the Drake equation yields a number less than 1, so I think SETI(@home) is a waste of time, but EINSTEIN seems like a worthwhile cause. The untapped resources of billions of seconds of idle CPU time per week (day?) is an awesome thing.

I am devoting my work computer (with my company's permission) to this task.

I could add 2 more home computers, but they are not connected to the internet. Is there any way I can use my home computers "off line"?
