Profile: Mark Trodden

Your personal background.
I'm a Professor of Physics at Syracuse University. I am a theoretical cosmologist interested in, among other things, the physics of the very early universe.
Your opinions about Einstein@Home
Gravitational waves may be one of our only tools to understand the earliest times in the universe, since one can only use light to see back to a few hundred thousand years after the Big Bang. I'm excited about the possibility that LIGO and future experiments may help us achieve this and I think its wonderful to be able to contribute my computer's spare time to the effort.
