Profile: Todd Buiten

Your personal background.
I've been a ham since the mid-80's (WK7L) and a space buff ever since I can remember. I currently run an online business with a friend, and before that I worked for many different companies including Microsoft. I'd tell you what I do in my spare time, but I have none. ;-)
Your opinions about Einstein@Home
Like many others in this project, I participated in SETI@Home. Unlike many others, I didn't do it because I believe in little green men. Quite the opposite really - I think life on earth is unique and that life outside of Earth is statistically improbable. I like these kinds of projects because it's a great way to utilize otherwise wasted CPU cycles. I'm really a big fan of relativity (both general and special), and I'd like to see Einstein's predictions validated. Gravity is really super cool, even though we take it for granted. The only thing cooler than gravity is inertia.
