I'm running Einstein@Home becouse I can contribute to our understanding and exploration of our universe. It also facinates me that all the CPUs in the world can come together to form one massive interconnected super-computer and crunch data that we are collecting.
I believe that an understanding of gravitational waves and their ability to bend light and space, for example at the event horizon of a black hole, can lead us further into new concepts of relativity. |
