| Your personal background. |
I am a high school student in St. Louis, Missouri. I have had an interest in astronomy for as long as I can remember. My secondmost interest is mainly computers.

I am a Baker and <a>Webmaster[/url]. I am soon to become a Lifegaurd and a Web Designer. I don't do many sports, mainly swimming, both for my school (in the winter) and for the local municipal team (in the summer). I also play paintball, but that is usually just a causal thing, never played in on a team or anything. |
| Your opinions about Einstein@Home |
I run Einstein@Home becuase I leave my computer running while I am asleep and I thought I might let it do something useful instead of just catch instant messages my my insomniac friends. I had heard about it before, but when a team was started for the Bad Astronomy Bulletain Board I gave in and began to use E@H.

I don't really know a lot about the project, mainly that it uses a distributed computing model to help detect gravatational waves. By using the large numbers of interested users' computers one can achieve extreme productivity with less costs.

I don't really have any suggestions at this time. I may have some in the future. |
