| I’m a semi-retired assembler/cobol/pascal programmer; systems programmer; network designer, web developer/designer; systems integrator and project manager. I hail from Cape Town, South Africa (& Windhoek, Namibia before then) but currently reside in the United States. Although I’ve spent most of my working career with computers, from hulking great big IBM and Burroughs mainframes to the latest PC and PLC technology, I don’t include computers amongst my hobbies – got better things to do. |

| I’ve always been very interested in anything to do with “what’s out there”, from our solar system, to other galaxies, to eti. If Einstein@Home gives me the opportunity to learn something new or gives me a new or different insight, then it’s time and effort well spent. |
