Profile: Tsarkon

Your personal background.
I'm 27 years old and am currently working on a double degree at the University of Calgary: a BSc in Astrophysics and a BSc in Computer Science with a concentration in Scientific Computation. My main interest is in high-energy Astrophysics (e.g. Gamma Ray Bursters), but finding gravity waves would be a truly ground-breaking discovery; I'm glad to help with such a worthy project.
Your opinions about Einstein@Home
Anyone with even a slight interest in Astrophysics and Albert Einstein's Theories of Relativity must be at least curious about a project attempting to verify another of Einstein's predictions. I live for this kind of stuff, so handing over nothing more than the idle time of my computer for such an endeavor was an easy decision.
