Your opinions about Einstein@Home
I tend to have spare computer time during the day and have been running the SETI@Home screen saver for a number of years. The Einstein program seems to be a logical extension. The project is definetely worthwhile. Since detection of gravity waves would open a completely new arena in terms of data beyond the EM spectrum, the projects is extremely worthwhile.

No suggestions other than to improve the user interface. I like the SETI@home interface because it allows me to turn the number-crunching on and off at my convenience. Einstein@home should also allow that facility, although it doesn't apprear to do that at present. I am just beginning to learn about the program so I may not yet have enough information but my impression is that it is designed to be totally automatic. I prefer manual control, uploading and downloading when I have the time and need to do so.
