Your personal background.
Picture - 60007 Sir Nigel Gresley visits Leicester Feb 2009.

Boincing since December 2004 when I originally joined Boinc UK (then called Lookers). I had previously crunched SETI Classic for a month or so before it closed down. In those days I ran just one PC, an old Celeron.
As my interest in the wider world of other Boinc projects grew, I migrated to another team and upgraded to a Pentium 4 H/T and added a Core 2 Quad.
Returning back to another UK team, I added another Quad.
At the end of July 2009 not long after pensioning off the P4, I decided to return to my original team, so here I am, full circle, back with Boinc UK.

I work with PCs all day, arranging insurance for a very well-known UK institution.

Hobbies (apart from Boincing) - designing and building stage sets for an amateur theatrical group; Music of all kinds from Opera through to Pink Floyd; All things concerned with railways (main interest is railway architecture).
