| I'm from Barstaple in the UK. It's a small town in the South West of England in a little county called Devon. I'm 18 and have been running DC projects for a while. Fan of computer's, I have recently tried to install and run Linux. Great OS but afraid I cant get my internet to work on it so switched back to windows so I could continue to run BOINC. I'm a student, taking A2 Chemistry, Physics, Biology and backing this up with and AS in Maths (Mechanics). Last year did an AS Computing course. Hopefully get into University to study Fire and Explosion Engineering at Leeds Uni! :D Got an offer, just gotta get the grades! Enjoy walking a lot. Lovely places round here. I love Dartmoor. Am a member of the Air Training Corps (Air Cadets) and thorughly enjoy it. Summer camps rock! I have learnt to drive and I drive a black mini city (1987 reg, Same age as me! :D) Am a member of Team Phoenix Rising distributed computing team and also in online games as such...watch out for TPR-Drezha! BTW TPR are always looking for new members! | |
| Your opinions about Einstein@Home | |
| Always been an intrested in science and helping people out and so DC projects seem great! Started Einstein@home when I got an email as I thought I'd help develop it (seeing as I was late on the scence for the other projects testing). Haven't done much yet but evey little helps they say! As I'm intrested in science, this intrests my physics side of me. In my opinion, Einstein@home has some good objectives and I think with the project, it's results can be achieved. Personnally it will never compare with the science behind Climate Prediction.net (my main project) as usfulnes for the human race but it's aims are slightly more feet on the floor to SETI. Besides, look at all the users SETI has! :D Any suggestions? No not really! Love the site design, like the SETI site. | |
