Profile: Tony.Heyes

Your personal background.
A scientist and an inventor; self employed and live in Melbourne, Australia. When asked for my occupation I declare myself to be a Gentleman Scientist. I have two PhDs! One in Physics from Cambridge and one in Psychology from Nottingham.
<p>
During the swinging 60s I was in Cambridge at the Cavendish Laboratory - a name dropper's paradise. Several members of the lab. had Nobel Prizes and one of my contempories wrote "A Brief History of Time".
<p>
I am partially sighted but nevertheless a keen bird watcher. I claim to see more UFOs in a day than most people see in a life time.
<p>
At the age of 60 they stopped me driving because of my eyesight, so I bought a bicycle. Cycling and windsurfing keep me fit. A different sort of swinging 60s.
<p>
I started my web page in 1995 it is mainly about Electronic Travel Aids for the Blind.
