Profile: Uncle Meat

Your personal background.
Greetings Earthlings! I'm mid-thirties with two lovely daughters, a gorgeous wife and a deep interest in all things science, engineering, technology, botany, anatomy, metorological, bicycles, beer, food, music... There's so much fun to be had on this planet! Based in East Sussex (UK) with a foot in France I love to mess around with my computers which are entirely constructed from rescued bits, consequently not the worlds fastest or most reliable but then it's never dull! Wishing you all health and happiness - JoeM aka Uncle Meat
Your opinions about Einstein@Home
Q. Why do I run Einstein@Home?
A. Because I have been running Seti@Home for years and feel it's about time some other projects got some of my processor time. Also I have a hunch that Einstein was wrong about this one and in he spirit of good science am trying to proove myself wrong.
Q. What are your views about the project?
A. Anything involving huge bits of kit dotted all over the planet has got to be worth while! As someone completely obsessed with scientific stuff, especially of great accuracy, this appeals to me greatly.
Q. Any suggestions
A. Ask me again when I finally get my head round exactly what it is you're doing...
