Profile: The Uncle Bs

Your personal background.
The Uncle B\\'s is a formidable force of diehard computer masterminds bent on outcrunching the entire universe. Unfortuneately, there are some rather difficult obstacles to overcome but we remain undaunted. Working as a team, we give everything we have to the cause!

Often we are completely wrapped up in our work, to the extent that we are unable to do much else. That\\'s the kind of dedication to Einstein@Home crunching we do here!

Rest assured, however. We do make the occasional effort to amuse ourselves!

More info on news is available at PCPerspective Welcome The Uncle B\\'s....... thread.

Now that we\\'ve started to settle in (not down) we wanted to introduce ourselves:
I\\'m Uncle Bob originally joined SETI in 2001 and retired with Classic 55,000+ units crunched. Starting so early was an advantage indeed.

Jay was the second to join. Together we formed The Uncle B\\'s. We\\'ve been wondering why we ever got into so much trouble ever since!

The next to join was Scruff. Hey, with a name like that, we don\\'t ask any more!

Who will be the next to join the Uncle B\\'s? We really don\\'t know! If you are near, for God sakes man, look out for the tractor beam!!
Your opinions about Einstein@Home
Were just glad someone will have us, although Graucho Marx\\'s line: \\"I sent the club a wire stating, Please accept my resignation. I don\\'t want to belong to any club that will accept me as a member.\\" often comes to mind.
