Profile: Alegrya

Your personal background.
22yo completing final year of double major IT degree at Griffith University member of the maths and physics club GUMPTION at GU but consider interest to be of 'hobbyist' level and not overly academic.

Oh yes, unlike anyone else with profiles from Australia at this stage (25-Jan-05) I'm female. So come on ladies get involved, science isn't just a boys club.
Your opinions about Einstein@Home
Used to run SETI@home but this sounded good so I made the switch. Don't have enough cycles to run multiple programs and cooling can be a bit of an issue since I love my microATX cases.

I think it's a good idea especially after discussions with other GUMPTION members and I thought it would be a good thing to do in this year of Science. Plus exploration is always good.

I will be looking to see if E@H comes in screensaver version I'm known to just sit and watch the screensaver rather than working.
