Profile: Greg Hodges

Your personal background.
Hello - my name is Greg Hodges.

I found out about Eistein@Home through fellow physics students at the University of Toledo in Toledo, Ohio (USA). Since I have been working on a computer to work as a dedicated data acquisition computer running Linux, I was curious to try my hand at installing this code to allow it to do something "useful" while it waits for the current data acquisition computer to retire.

About myself - well, as of 08-May-2005, I am in the final stages of finishing a Ph.D. in Experimental Atomic Physics, with a medical physics specialization in Diagnostic Radiological Physics. I am married (just over 7 years, now) and have one son, 6 years old. As anyone can guess, my hobbies include anything that can provide a healthy dose of distraction.
