Profile: Bob Harris

Your personal background.
My name is Bob Harris, I am 74 Years old and retired now but spent most of my life as a Weapons Engineer in the Royal Navy. Initially I was a gunbuster but towards the end of my career I became more and more involved in computing, at first electro-mechanical and then digital. Now that I am living on my own and in retirementI find my PCs a great source of enjoyment and entertainment.
Your opinions about Einstein@Home
Initially it was SETI as I could not visualise the Creator bringing into being a myriad of stars, and planets, and then only allowing life to flourish on this little speck called Earth. There must be life out there!
With the introduction of BOINC I was immediately drawn to the Einstein Project and its aims.
