Your opinions about Einstein@Home
To be honest, I have no concept of the science of this project. I do, however, have a Model T IBM-compatable computer that sits idle much of the time, and, as I try to be a giving person, I decided to donate all those unused cycles to projects such as this. I got started with SETI@home in 1999 and added Lifemapper, a KU project, a few years later. Now that Lifemapper has apparently been completed, I switched over to BOINC and I run SETI, Einstein and Pirates@Home (if and when they actually distribute some work). In any event, I hope the Einstein@home team meets its goal, whatever that may be.
