I'm from somewhere in the mddle of Germany, 39 years old, hoping to make a good job in a small company reselling servers and storage of a well known manufacturer (three letters, first one is an "I" ... :))

I\\'ve been a trekkie for several years - well I still am, but not as activ as before - and one day I replaced the Search for Spock with S.E.T.I.
This is how I became involved with grid computing.

My opinion about Einstein@Home in particular and grid computing in general:

I really like the idea of people from all over the world working together to solve problems concerning all mankind. And Borderlines are as irrelevant as payment is (arrrrgh - where are my credíts???? ;-D)
