| I run Einstein@home because i learned about it from the changeover of Seti@home to BOINC. I like the idea that all the idle computers in the world can do something useful with all theire combined computing-power. I'm a 40 year old tele/IT-technician who has gone back to school(IT-akademiet) to be certified in Cisco CCNA,CCNP and Windows something,something. I have allways been very interested in astronomy/cosmology, thats why i where involved in Seti. I used to be a beliver in the Big Bang theorie, but over the years i have seen so many unlogical statements in that direction. So now i'm more of a "steady state/plasma-universe" kind of guy. Since i'm an atheist, i have seen that the Big Bang theorie looks more and more like a religion.(If something does not match, we just asume that there is some dark matter or energi, and then we can make an unknown "constant" who will make the theori work. | I answered that above, but i will fill in more over time. Especially with regards to the Cosmology question. I hope to have some discussions on this matter if there is a forum on this site. | |
