Your personal background.
I run Einstein@home because i learned about it from the changeover of Seti@home to BOINC. I like the idea that all the idle computers in the world can do something useful with all theire combined computing-power.

I'm a 40 year old tele/IT-technician who has gone back to school(IT-akademiet) to be certified in Cisco CCNA,CCNP and Windows something, something.

I have allways been very interested in astronomy/cosmology, thats why i where involved in Seti. I used to be a beliver in the Big Bang theorie, but over the years i have seen so many unlogical statements in that direction. So now i'm more of a "steady state/plasma-universe" kind of guy. Since i'm an atheist, i have seen that the Big Bang theorie looks more and more like a religion.(If something does not match, we just asume that there is some dark matter or energi, and then we can make an unknown "constant" who will make the theori work.

Please remember that i'm a Norwegian, so don't correct my english. I know it's not perfect.

With regards

I answered that above, but i will fill in more over time.
Especially with regards to the Cosmology question. I hope to have some discussions on this matter if there is a forum on this site.
