Your personal background.
Wow, I've been running SETI@Home and BOINC for several years now. I suppose it's time to create a profile. Well, I did very well in High School and then volunteered for the service in the Army. I never did make it to college, though I've always been facinated with science. I work now as a commercial and residential electrician, and build websites, computers, and home networks in my spare time. My computer hobby has given me an outlet to give to the scientific community via distributed computing. Science also gives me a challenge by pushing me to raise the performance level of my computers. This, along with my insatiable desire to tinker, is what brought me to the Overclockers.com website and their BOINC teams.

I find it hard to stray from SETI in order to join other BOINC projects, but thoroughly enjoy helping scientific research in all fields.
