I am excited about the possibility of confirming yet another of General Relativity's predictions! Especially when you look at some of the interesting theoretical work that is being done in cosmology, including things like string/m-theory where there may be the potential to use gravitational waves to explore higher dimentional space (other branes), discovering and learning the properties of these waves may be one of the greatest accomplishments that we can make!
