| G\\'Day boffins of the world,my name is Peter Crick aka Einsteins Dog. I am an Aussie Materials Scientist currently working for the Australian Department of Defence as a Consultant. I also Ocean Race on Maxi Yachts, Cycle (road), enjoy watching Rugby, and I firmly believe Eminem is a genius. I travelled extensively throughout the USA in 86/87, spent 6 months skiing in Aspen, Drove through the edge of a Tornado on my way to Niagra Falls, not sure which State, somewhere between Aspen and Canada. Spent a month in Main, one of the most beautiful places I have visited, and then lived in Atlanta Georgia for 6 months before flying home via the Bahamas for 2 weeks. Our family has had a lot to do with America over the years, during the Vietnam War we had about 50 US Marines stay on our farm during their R and R (remediation and refuge ) breaks, we still keep in touch with some of them - Gday Mike in Red Bluff California. Dad also had quite a few Italian Prisoners of War stay on the farm during WW2. In a serious breach of DOD protocol he gave them all rifles and some cars to drive and as they were all bridge-builders he also arranged for them to build all the bridges for the local Shire Council. Suffice to say they loved it and didn\\'t breach his trust, most went on to become self made millionaires in the Australian Civil Construction industry. Struth, I am waffling on a bit aren\\'t I, oh well, not much more to say.... Go Lauren Jackson, you delightfully delicious Babe. Oh, and if I happen to be Googled, Hi. | I run Einstein@Home because my computers are lazy and I want to make them sweat. Working to help other Boffins is a privilege and I am thankful we have the technology which offers people like myself the ability to contribute to such a worthwhile project. | |
