Profile: Daniel R. Gigot

Your personal background.
I am a research biochemist at the Free University of Brussels, Belgium.
I am 61, my hobbies are electronics, astronomy and model train building.
During my holidays I usually travel to remote countries in Asia or
Africa. I speak and write French, Flemish, German, Portuguese and English.
Your opinions about Einstein@Home
I plan to run Einstein@home because of my interest in astronomy/physics and
because I own several PC's; 2 are dedicated to the well known SETI@Home project
and a third one(I have just repaired}I plan to dedicate to the gravitational
waves project.
Since so far all the scientific experiments have confirmed Einstein's theories I think it is worth to take a modest participation in proving the gravitational
waves he predicted do really exist.
