Profile: Jonathan Dudley

Your personal background.
I'm Jonathan and I hail from a particularly rural part of central Florida. Since cowtipping and tractor pulls have never been my thing, I grew up spending most of my off-hours engaged in my own little science experiments. I'm a proverbial Da Vinci: I'm interested in a variety of subjects ranging from mathematics (especially differential equations and tensor analysis) to fluid mechanics to biology and neuroscience. Right now I'm working on a method of transfering energy without wires which I hope to eventually submit to that new NASA contest.
Your opinions about Einstein@Home
I discovered Einstein@home after reading about it in the latest issue of Scientific American. I thought to myself "Hey, I'm a fan of the space-time continuum! Why not?" and proceeded to install the program and almost melt a hole in my laptop by accidentally donating 100% of the cpu usage. Got things straightened up now and I hope I can do my part, however insignificant it may be, to further this interesting scientific endeavour.
