Your personal background.
Grew up in metro Milwaukee.

Consultant/Engineer - primarily software & computational mathematics.

I'm da bomb DADDY :) but more importantly my daughter is "#1 bestess daughter in the whole world" [stole and modified that from mi hija]

Family is an extension of God - more important than anything else in the universe(s).

I participate in a few computational projects on and off - it really depends on my research - between the few nodes I typically run on with compiler loads, test data generation, analysis and verification I don't have a lot of spare gigaflops. 'Schtuff like folding@, gimps, dnet(mostly OGR-27 lately) and a few boinc projects (mostly math since other sims like cpdn & milky way are pitiful sim-models at this point in time and the data is only useful in refining their premature models).'

Oh I am hoping to make time to participate in Al Zimmermans contests - too bad he swapped out prize $$ for sculptures/art-work :( Could use the money to buy my lil one more fun things :)

It would be a NICE added bonus if I could get one of the EFF cooperative computing awards, but not a necessity. In 2010/2011 I should be applying for some research grants - FINALLY!
