I am born in 1952 in Belgium in a town where the first population of it goes back to the time of Stone Age. It was a city with some 65.000 people around the 13th to the 15th century.
I am passionate by astronomy since my 15 years.
I studied 2 years of physics and 4 years of engineer in electronics.
My work is one of educating surgeons all over Europe, Africa, the Middle East and America. This education consists in how they have to do their surgery as well as how to work with sophisticated PC based equipment.
I have also an educating responsability for colleagues in that part of the world.
Another part of the job is related to research and development as well as Clinical Studies.
I have been working with a PC from the time everything was done under DOS.
I am using a home made PC, rebuild for the sixth time. It runs a Core2Duo 3.16GHz at 3.476GHz with DDR2-SDRAM PC8500 2GB on a Asus P5QC motherboard.
Crunching 24/7, with a room temperature of 20C with a Core temp of 45C cooled with an excellent Zalman ;)

Tried to been invited since a couple of months and received the long waited invitation the 9th of February. |
