Interests include: running, kayaking, astronomy, and classical music.
Your opinions about Einstein@Home

1. I'm running Einstein@home in part, because of natural curiosity. Also,
many science writers Kip Thorne, Marcia Bartusiak, Roger Penrose, Dennis Overbye, etc. have done an excellent job of conveying the intellectual joys
and excitement of science. Demystifying the universe around us doesn't necessarily lead to disenchantment. Quite the contrary, in fact.

2. I believe there should be still greater interaction between the scientific community and the (tax-paying) public, BOINC projects are a very positive step in this direction.

3. If my computer crashes, I lose the BOINC GUI, and access to the software.
If there is a way to reconfigure WINDOWS XP with this software package, that would be useful
