| I'm an IT nerd from Sydney, Australia. I am active in the amateur astronomy community using a 203mm f10 SCT whenever the weather, the wife and work allow me to. I got into practical astronomy originally because I was sick of seeing 'picture curtesy of NASA/JPL' in the corner of everything I looked at. I wanted to know what the picture would look like through the Mark 1 eyeball. | |

| I subscribe to this project because : (a) It's the international year of physics. (b) Gravity waves are more tangible (ie: there is at least a theory behind them) than aliens. (c) I like naming the constellations as they spin around on the screensaver. | |
