| Your personal background. |
I'm a 30-year-old simulation engineer working for BMW Group, Munich (Germany). In my free-time, DC is not the only volunteering I do: I'm in active service in a volunteer fire brigade since 1993. Recently, I've also started an additional volunteer engagement at the Malteser paramedics.
On the picture above, you can see my new car. Well, not for private use , but during the service at the volunteer fire brigade. There, I've been engineman of this truck in 2005 and 2006, which means, that I've been responsible for maintenance and minor repairs. In 2007, I've switched my focus to the Malteser paramedics, where I'm vehicle fleet manager for 11 cars and light trucks.
(Curious? You can see different profiles of me at SIMAP and CPDN Seasonal Attribution Project.) |
| Your opinions about Einstein@Home |
| At the moment, I've suspended working for Einstein@Home , since the WUs are a bit too large for part-time crunching. I'd need about 10 hours to complete, which is hardly feasible within the deadline. |
