Your personal background.

I'm a 25yo Townsville lad that has been in the IT industry a lot longer than what I would have hoped for. I now live on the Sunshine coast and work as the Network Admin for a small commercial ISP that provides MTU/MDU's and all sorts of business with high availability data links using all sorts of technologies from Wifi to VDSL. You'd be amazed at how hard the 'last inch' can get.

As for my human side, my hobbies include Homebrew, playing Scorched Earth on a old P120 and drinking wine. Things I hold dear to myself is my BBQ and my Homebrew kit. I like to eat pies, particularly those from the Sunrise Bakery at the Ettamogah Pub, and anything that comes off a BBQ. My favourite brand of grog is Toohey's, unless I have some money, inwhich case Coopers tops the list.

Your opinions about Einstein@Home

I run Einstein@Home just because I can. I started doing the Distributed Computing thing back when Seti@home first came into existance. It's been on and off for a while and I decided to give this project a go since I don't mind the subject matter.

One suggestion would be fixing FreeBSD support, I just can't get it to run on the BSD boxen.
