Profile: Harvey Allen

Your personal background.
Wrote my first computer program at age 22. That was in 1961. Working with computers ever since. It's been wonderful to watch this little fragment in the development of this planet's creative species.

Live in the Catskill mountains of New York State 3 1/2 hours drive to New York City.

This has been my Electronic Cottage since 1979 when a client bought me an IBM Series/1 computer to work at home. They hired me to write programs to count their money and they had plenty.
Your opinions about Einstein@Home
Began Distributed Computing with Seti in January 2002. Started Einstein@home last year and really like the quality of the project.
