Unix Dude at a large mobile phone manufacturer, based in Australia, putzing around the planet to wherever they need me. Einstein@home is a good way to burn in CPU on server clusters :) Current cluster size: ~100 processors. Continuous measured power consumption, not including cooling: 10KW.
Your opinions about Einstein@Home
It is a better usage of CPU than burn in software. Hopefully it turns out to be more useful as well in the long run.

We need more people throwing this on commodity clusters. If I can do this with 100 idle boxes, the average medium size office could easily match me.
