Background
I am a retired VP of technology and have always been interested in cosmology and physics. I am from the USA, having lived in Boston, Denver, New York City and the greater Los Angeles area.
Opinion
1. The idea of perhaps contributing to the detection of gravitational waves, even as a rather passive computer operator, is very appealing.
2. The project is a great idea; I really like the notion of generalizing the SETI@Home model, and also applaud the collaboration between the management teams in the USA and in Germany. Wonderful way to engage the interested lay public as actual participants in research.
3. Suggest more use of Notices, since many of us are looking at our Einstein@Home jobs in BOINC more than we are checking the Web site.
