    Your runtime with the new driver is excellent, especially for the old 1.34 app! And currently you have 62 valids versus 6 invalids - far better than with the usual problematic drivers.

    Bernd posted something about a way to test newer Intel drivers via beta. I don't remember more, though. It might have been in this thread or over there.

      The 6 invalids are driver version 10.18.14.4170 (Win7)

      The valid ones are with the recommended driver 10.18.10.3906 (Win7), or driver 10.18.15.4124 (from Win10)

        So you're getting tasks with the new driver by allowing beta tasks, right? And so far it runs very smooth, no more invalids since the 2nd of May. There may be hope for Broadwell & Skylake iGPUs.

          Yes the new driver works well, and I am getting work (only) with the beta-app. So we can hopefully looking for the new Intel generations ;)

                Boinc downloads GPU tasks, shows me that it needs 1xCPU plus 1xGPU to compute it, but it aborts directly after starting the tasks with a "calculation error".

                Any ideas what's going wrong here?

                  The tasks haven't been reported yet so it's hard to tell for sure but I think there's two likely causes (you could tell yourself by peeking into client_state.xml and finding the stderr section of the tasks):

                  1. You got the app's permissions wrong.
                  2. The version of Beignet you have isn't compatible with BRP app in which case Beignet prints an error message and terminates the BRP app.

                  Since Beignet reports its version as 1.1 you seem to have compiled Beignet from master branch and quite a while ago too. At least one bug introduced in 1.0.x versions was fixed only a few days ago. You could try to rebuild Beignet from head of master or use 0.9.2 which worked for me.

                    I recompiled beignet from the latest git, but it didn't fix the problem. Unfortunatly I have already burned down my daily quota of 12 tasks, so I'll have to wait till tomorrow to try it as root.

                    I manipulated the /etc/init.d/boind-client-file to start boinc as superuser (root).

                    I read somewhere, that boinc needs root privileges to run tasks with beignet, but had forgotten about it. I'll post my results tomorrow.

                      I compiled beignet from the latest git. It compiled and worked, but it did not verify against BRP6-cuda32-nv301.
                      So the latest version of beignet known to work with einstein is 0.9.2.
