The number of tasks awaiting validation (Ueberpruefung ausstehend) is raisung up continuously since days (about 10 days ago 200, now 540), tends ascending. Is there anyone who has noticed the same ? Normal or not ?

Thanks,
Arthur

Tasks awaiting validation raising up...

I would say this is nothing really to worry about. It looks like the usual 'tidal' effect I normally see with my pending tasks list.
My own pendings are back up to the usual ~1500 level even though in the last weeks I have 'lost' the output from 2.5 hosts.
Sometimes you are just really unlucky with the wingmen.
Things will even out soon and you should see a nice spike in RAC when it does.

Thanks Gavin ! Yes, I noticed always some fluctuations and I understand this "tiding effect", but this time its my "high score" so I was a little bit wondering about. Perhaps holidays have started and a lot of crunchers shut down their systems :-)

European holiday season may

European holiday season may be starting for sure but another factor to bear in mind is the rise in media reports around the world of gravitational wave discoveries and the attraction of many new users to Einstein that sadly soon get bored.

That's right. From time to time MEDIA announcements are attracting new users, not the DEVS or the ADMINS of Einstein@Home ! A computing capacity of 1783.4 TFLOPS is not bad and it seems to me like they are happy with what's on. What should a users do with boring cobblestones

No "Coins" nor any symbolic gifts or some personal words as a deserved praise for participating or reaching a milestone, only Cobblestones ...

But I like this unbelievable light grey stones with a really impressive surface structure, every stone has it's shape and it's own character, its' so exciting :-)))
